Harkening back to prehistoric times, conical shells have an ancient aura about them. Their image conjures up dreams of them swimming through the primordial soup of evolution. The mystery deepens as this sculpture strikes a precarious pose on its base. Although its position seems tentative it projects a sense of rest and stability.
