WOOD: Ash

“Although I have never worked with glass I am fascinated by some of the wonderful shapes that can be produced. In this “sketch” I try to emulate some of the natural curves I have seen in glass pieces. Liquid flows and elegant natural curves are the hallmarks I am striving for. Color has been added to the underside for an exciting contrast. The edge has been burned to emphasize its importance to the composition.”
