WOOD: Ash
“This work is part of the “Celebrating the Ash Tree” series. Unfortunately, in the near future there will be no more Ash wood due to the Emerald Ash Borer, a destructive Asian import. I enjoy carving Ash and I intend to memorialize Ash through my sculptural work.”
