WOOD: Osage Orange

“While walking on the beach, you discover a spiral gem – a water worn fragment of a conch or whelk. The first impression is the tiny elegance of this twisted beauty. By producing an enlarged version, I call attention to the delicate flow of the lines that nature has bestowed upon us but on a grand scale. Two “stones” of walnut and box elder complete the design while offering an element of interactivity and play for those who experience this sculpture.”
