WOOD: Ash

“This is a concept piece, having many of the elements and sensibilities of real shells, but combined in a non-real, intuitive manner. Ash is a wonderful wood which unfortunately is becoming extinct due to the Emerald Ash Borer. This work is part of my “Celebrate the Ash” collection; my small attempt to memorialize this magnificent tree.”
