“I often see my upright shell forms as dancers. To me they have the visual feel of human form about to take the next step in the choreography. With that in mind, I see Shell Form No. 46 as the prima donna taking a grand step onto the stage. The lines of the form augmented by a slight tilt in the mounting create a distinct feeling of motion. The regalia of her “costume” completes the image.”
