WOOD: Ash

“Undulating ruffles and multiple “toes” define this six footed carved vessel. There is much movement and (perhaps) the suggestion of a stiff breeze, canting the work to one side and creating billows and valleys in the wood. The prominent grain adds to both the movement and the cohesiveness of the work.”
