WOOD: Cherry
“I had a very nice “scrap” of cherry from a larger piece. And when you have a nice “scrap” of cherry you just have to use it! After taking some plunges with the chain saw it started to develop into something that interested me. After much refinement it became a respectable new member of the “Colony Series”. Perhaps it suggests an underwater fantasy or maybe a spectacular fungus growth on an old stump in the woods. What do you see?”
