“This sculpture is an enlargement study based on a small shell in my collection. The inside is highly polished and lacquered, while the outside is textured with extraordinary detail and an oil/varnish finish. This piece was great fun to produce and I especially enjoyed engraving the detail on the outside of this large shell form.”
